My name is Jakub Paszek, Polish, 32, single. Recently created a small portfolio, that showcases some of my skills and work. www.pashek.com
Looking for a job in yacht industry as a carpenter. I’ve been around wood since a kid - carpentry was a family trade. Speaking good English and learning Dutch intensively.
Highly motivated to acquire new skills and learn new things in my life.
I’m starting my life anew and since I had some experience with trawler refit (small restoration) and a lot experience in carpentry industry, decided to apply for this position.
@portfolio there are also photos of my project from last summer, which was teak deck laying, interior refurbishing and other small things.
This ship is reason why I came to Netherlands really (this and I was organizing a rematec exhibition of our company in Amsterdam, which was an amazing experience).
It belonged to my Brother in law and I supposed to move in and live there and start a small cruise service with him around Gdańsk in Poland.
We did a complete refit, sandblasted the whole hull and superstructure, painted it, refit electrical and mechanical parts, checking kingstones learn about yachting. Unfortunately life verified our plans and he passed away.
Since He always urged me to go abroad and leave my troubles in Poland I’ve decided to move on with my life.

Currently working for agency in different locations, depending on project. Moving to Rotterdam soon.
